How to Use GCFScape on Windows
Download the latest version of GCFScape from this official site.
Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
Once GCFScape is installed, open it and click on the "File" menu.
Select "Open" and browse to the GCF or VPK file that you want to open (for multi-chunk archives, open the _dir.vpk file).
GCFScape will display the contents of the file in an explorer tree view. Double-click any file to inspect it.
To extract a file or entire directory from the archive, right-click on it and select "Extract".
Browse to your destination location on your PC and click "OK".
